With the shape that is preserved quite intact, the bolt of the bolt is considered a very young volcano dating back to 10,000 years old. This is a destination not to be missed for those who love to research and discover geological values and typical geography of the UNESCO Global Geological Park Dak Nong. Seen from above, the volcano Kar is impressed by the green beauty, mixed with yellow flowers, wild flowers, shifting and soft winding road surrounding. Inadverting each other about the formation of a volcano. Legend has it that in the past, on the top of the mountain there was a vast lake and lots of fish and green trees. Knowing this, a guy came to catch grilled fish without knowing this was a fish raised by the god. Therefore, when he finished eating the grilled fish, the guy felt itchy body and face gradually deformed, had very big ears and a very long nose, a bulging abdomen, his body was as muscular as an elephant. Because he was a person who turned into elephants, he was very strong, the villagers did not have enough rice to raise. The village elders and priests immediately cook sticky rice, corn, beans, and cassava roots sprinkled on the bamboo leaves to lure elephants to eat. Where elephants eat, the priest read the mantra to let the elephant remember that it was his food. Today, on the mouth of this volcano, there is still water and fish that live a lot and the people in the region retain the name of this mountain is Nham Kar (meaning fish mountain). The legend of the volcano is also the legend of the elephant that the M’nong people often tell in the epic to remind and educate their children and grandchildren not to arbitrarily abuse natural resources.
