In recent days, all levels of government, sectors, and local authorities have focused on directing the upgrade of infrastructure and landscapes, and enhancing environmental sanitation at destinations to serve tourists during the September 2nd holiday.
The festive atmosphere of the September 2nd National Day has enveloped the Dong Loc T-junction National Historical Site.
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Head of the Tourism Management Division (Ha Tinh Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism), stated: “Anticipating a long September 2nd National Day holiday and a surge in people's travel demand, the department has proactively issued specific directives to each locality and unit to focus on preparations. Based on the guidance from the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, we have advised on issuing an official dispatch regarding the preparation of conditions to serve tourists during the September 2nd holiday and the final months of 2026.”
Officials from the Tourism Management Division (Ha Tinh Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism) are working with service businesses at Thien Cam Tourist Area to foster a civilized tourism business environment.
Accordingly, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has directed local authorities, tourism area management boards, and travel agencies to implement comprehensive plans to ensure safety and enhance service quality. Local governments are stepping up inspections to ensure prices are listed and adhered to, resolutely preventing harassment and price gouging of tourists. Concurrently, units are proactively monitoring weather developments to temporarily suspend water activities or adjust programs as needed. Destinations must ensure adequate staffing, environmental hygiene, food safety, fire prevention and fighting, and publicize support hotlines. The department also encourages the development of 'back to the roots' tourism products, connecting with the local historical and traditional cultural values.

At Xuan Thanh Tourist Area (Tien Dien Commune), in addition to upgrading facilities, special attention has been paid to ensuring safety in all tourism activities.
Mr. Le Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of Tien Dien Commune People's Committee, stated: “We have focused on directing service establishments in Xuan Thanh Tourist Area to upgrade infrastructure, ensure environmental hygiene, and meticulously prepare to welcome guests. We are delighted that room bookings for this year's holiday are very high, currently exceeding 80%. In addition to requiring establishments to publicly list prices, the local authorities regularly monitor weather forecasts and have developed a coastal rescue plan. Currently, the tourist area is equipped with a specialized rescue canoe, ready to respond to any incidents.”

Local authorities have proactively coordinated with functional forces to devise traffic diversion plans and ensure security and order, aiming for a safe and complete holiday experience for tourists.
Alongside Xuan Thanh, Thien Cam Tourist Area has also completed preparations to welcome guests. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Long, Deputy Director in charge of Thien Cam Commune General Service Center, informed: “Beyond infrastructure upgrades, we have directed accommodation establishments and restaurants to prepare clean, fresh food sources, clearly list prices, and strictly prohibit price hikes or overcharging tourists. At the same time, we require businesses to constantly monitor staff service attitudes, determined to build an image of a civilized and friendly destination with the motto: visitors who come once will want to return again and again.”
