Da Nang holds an Ao Dai festival from April 23 to 26 DNO - Da Nang City will organize a 2026 Ao Dai festival on a city-level scale, taking place from April 23 - 26 at many locations, to honor traditional cultural values, while creating a highlight to attract tourists during the holidays of April 30 and May 1. According to the plan issued by the City People's Committee, the festival is called "Da Nang Ao Dai Festival 2026 - Da Nang Ao Dai Festival 2026", held in public spaces such as: APEC Park, Bach Dang walking street, Son Tra walking street, Nguyen Van Troi bridge, Han River area, Hoi An ancient town. The event aims to preserve and promote the value of ao dai in contemporary life, gradually building the festival into an annual cultural activity of the city. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to promote the fashion design industry, form a creative ecosystem associated with the production, performance and trade of ao dai products, contributing to promoting the image of people and the dynamic and friendly city of Da Nang. The highlight of the festival is the opening program taking place on the evening of April 24 at the Bach Dang pedestrian street area and Nguyen Van Troi bridge, with art performances combining performances of traditional and innovative ao dai collections. In addition, a series of rich activities will take place throughout such as ao dai parades on central streets, fashion shows, display space "Da Nang Ao Dai - past, present, tomorrow", discussions about ao dai and creativity, and many exchange and experience programs for residents and tourists.
