On July 29, the People's Committee of Gia Lai Province issued Plan No. 12/KH -UBND on the organization of the Essence Festival of Dai Thousand - Blue Sea converged in 2025. The festival aims to promote the strength and potential of the province, contributing to preserving and promoting the quintessential values of the land and local people. Attracting tourists to Quy Nhon beach, contributing to the night economic development, marine economy, stimulating tourism services, cuisine and specialties of sea specialties from ocean tuna are enhanced in style and diverse taste with international tourists. The festival also propagates and promotes the legendary basalt land with the traditional cultural identity of the Central Highlands and specialties and typical agricultural products such as the leading coffee-product in the local key agricultural production industry. Honoring the fishermen, inspiring fishermen to reassure, cling to the sea and contribute to the sustainable economic development of the province's fishing industry in particular and of Vietnam in general. With the theme: "The desire for blue sea - great thousands of shine", the opening ceremony will take place at 20h on 29/8 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square. At the same time, at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, the Coffee Culture and Gong Culture Festival will take place. The content of the festival includes: Introducing the cultural space of the Central Highlands gongs (including introducing brocade weaving products, ethnic instruments such as stone flock, t’rung ...); Introducing coffee culture-A product of Vietnamese agricultural products in the world school; Organize coffee preparation for free trial; Organize coffee farmers, roasted coffee processers, grind coffee in the traditional way of the Central Highlands ethnic minorities and guide visitors to experience. Food festival "Delicious dishes from basalt and sea" associated with OCOP product display area and traditional trade village will take place from August 29 to September 2 at Children's Park with a scale of about 100 standard booths. The traditional art program takes place from August 31 to September 1 in the Victory Square, Xuan Dieu Street includes the following contents: Binh Dinh martial arts performance, gongs and ethnic instruments in the Central Highlands, traditional art performances (Tuong and Bai Choi).
