Therefore, the Tay people in Ban Loan village, Yen Dinh commune, Bac Me district (Ha Giang) regularly maintain the moon festival with the meaning of welcoming Moon's mother and the fairies to happy Mid -Autumn Festival. In these days, the elderly meet and ask about family, production and animal husbandry development. For young people, this is a festival for boys and girls to meet through the graceful songs. As for children, this is the happiest day, the children are picked up star lights, have fun, break the deck under the full moon.
The Moon Bridge Festival is held on the full moon day of August, the festival consists of two parts, the ceremony and the festival. The ceremony is usually held on the evening of August 14 on the lunar calendar on a large ground with the rituals "worshiping the Princess Princess" at the Chung temple to ask for permission to organize the Moon Festival the next night.
At the beginning of the festival, the dance around the table is outdoors. Next, the villagers cook traditional cuisine (Lam rice, iridescent sticky rice, pork sauce, carp fish sauce, salt filling, salted bamboo shoots ...); Play folk games; Gather to sit and drink, enjoy the culinary dishes that have been processed. The next night, right on the full moon day of August, when the mother moon rises from the top of the mountain and started to shine down the village, all people gathered in the yard. At this time, the priest conducted worshiping the Earth and the gods, the artisans dancing around the offerings when opening the moon.
The moon festival ended when the moon's mother stood in the middle of the head, the whole nostalgia was the ceremony to see off the moon to the sky, then they continued to humble in the Then song, singing with the strangely attracted people. At the end of the ceremony, the village elders will distribute seeds to their descendants, pray for all people a new year to plant favorable, bumper crops, and prosperous villagers.
