Festival procession of "man pig" in La Phu village On January 13 every year, according to traditional customs, the people of La Phu village hold a ceremony to process the "pig man" to the village communal house to offer sacrifices to the village's Tutelary God. According to a long-standing tradition, the festival is an opportunity for the people of La Phu village to commemorate Tinh Quoc Tam Lang under the reign of the 6th Hung Due Vuong, who contributed to fighting the enemy and preserving the territory. According to an old story, people in the area brought pigs to show their gratitude and called him Tutelary God. The pigs offered as sacrifices are selected by the hamlets and carefully raised years in advance. Each hamlet will only be able to choose one "man pig" and must be fat, well-cared for, and clean. After that, these "pigs" will be taken to Mr. Dam's house (the family hosting the "pig" procession for that hamlet) and then slaughtered, beautifully decorated and put on a palanquin to wait for a good time to take them to the communal house for the offering ceremony. According to legend, he was the one who had the merit of fighting the enemy and defending the country during the reign of King Hung Due Vuong. The festival has many unique rituals. But the most unique is the custom of raising and processing pigs and offering them to the village tutelary god. Legend has it that every time Saint Tam Lang gathered soldiers to fight the enemy, people often blew sticky rice and pork to greet the troops. That custom has been maintained by people for many years until today.

One Pillar Pagoda was started construction in the year Ky Suu 1049, under the reign of King Ly Thai Tong. According to folk legend, in a dream, King Ly Thai Tong dreamed of Guan Yin Buddha sitting on a lotus, radiating light and inviting the king to come with him. When the king woke up from his dream, he immediately told his servant. Monk Thien Tue advised the king to build a pagoda on a stone pillar just like in his dream, making a lotus throne for the Buddha to sit on. In history books, it is recorded that at the current location of the One Pillar Pagoda, there is a stone pillar above which there is a jade pagoda. In the jade pavilion, there is a statue of Guan Yin Buddha that was built in a square lake. The king often came here to chant Buddhist scriptures and pray. Later, the next prince repaired the pagoda and built a pagoda next to it 10 meters to the southwest. This cluster of relics was named Dien Huu Tu with the hope of "long-lasting blessings". In 1105, King Ly Nhan Tong repaired the pagoda and built two white porcelain-roofed towers in front of the yard.
