La Duong communal house festival Time: January 10 to January 15 of the lunar calendar (main festival January 11)  Location: La Duong communal house, La Duong village, Duong Noi commune, Hoai Duc district, Hanoi . Objects of worship: Three Thanh Hoang Minh Tuat Dai Vuong. Characteristics: Procession, ceremonies, performances, chess playing... La Duong Communal House was built during the reign of King Hung Vuong the 17th, worshiping the three brothers Minh Tuat Dai Vuong. According to the legend that still records the communal house, there was a man and woman from Kim Bang district who worked as fishermen on the river. They were old but still had no children. Knowing that La Duong has Thien Vu Pagoda, famous for its spiritual inspiration, my grandparents came to pray. When she returned, she was pregnant and gave birth to three sons of natural talent and handsome appearance, named Minh Tuat Nhat Long, Nhi Long and Tam Long. Growing up, all three brothers studied hard and were proficient in military books and tactics. At the age of 24, there were invaders in the North. King Hung opened an exam to find talented people to fight the enemy. The three brothers went to the capital to participate and all passed. Mr. Nhat Long was appointed as Commander, Mr. Nhi Long and Tam Long were appointed as General of the Left and General of the Right. When leading the army to fight the enemy, his father chose La Duong land as a garrison. On the day of victory, the king took the land of La Duong and gave it to the three Minh Tuat brothers as a hamlet. When he passed away, the people built a communal house to worship him and honored him as the village's tutelary god.  The festival attracts a large number of people and tourists from all over.  Main association developments  January 10  In the morning, the elderly men in the ritual team wear traditional costumes to perform the ceremony of bao sai, wood duc statue, worshiping objects and the ceremony to open the communal house door. In the afternoon, the men's worship team conducts the naturalization ceremony, while the women's worship team conducts the incense offering ceremony to the Saint.  January 11 (Political Assembly) The procession of the palanquin of tribute bowls from La Duong communal house to La Duong restaurant is held early in the morning. Leading the procession is the lion dance team, followed by the Bat Am ward, the flag-carrying team, the eight treasures, the palanquin-carrying team, the men's worship team, the women's worship team, the ceremony team and the villagers. The people carrying the palanquin are all healthy, unmarried young men. When the palanquin settled in the courtyard of La Duong restaurant, the men's worship team conducted the ceremony to worship the Saint. In the afternoon, the team offers incense to worship the Saint. At night, the tablets are transferred to the palanquin and carried from the shop to the communal house. January 12 to 15: The male and female worship teams of La Duong village along with the worship teams of neighboring villages  offered incense to the Saint. On the afternoon of January 15, the men's worship team performed a farewell ceremony and distributed Holy fortune to villagers and visitors. During the festival, many games and cultural activities take place such as: lion dance, senh tien dance, quan ho singing, cheo singing, literature singing, chess competition, cockfighting...
