Trieu Khuc village traditional festival: National intangible cultural heritage The traditional festival of Trieu Khuc village, Tan Trieu commune, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi city is held from the 9th to the 12th day of the first lunar month every year in Trieu Khuc village and is held once every 3 years. Legend has it that in the past Trieu Khuc was the place where Phung Hung (Bo Cai Dai Vuong) trained troops to fight the enemy general Dao Chinh Binh of the Chinese Tang Dynasty. This is not Phung Hung's hometown, but after winning the throne, Trieu Khuc villagers worshiped Phung Hung and honored him as a Saint. Trieu Khuc village festivals and festivals take place from the 9th to the 12th of January because this is the day he was crowned king; to commemorate the national hero Bo Cai Dai Vuong Phung Hung, the Hero who launched a successful uprising against the domination of the Northern invaders at Tong Binh (formerly Hanoi) and thanks the ancestors of the sports profession for bringing a prosperous life to the villagers. The community of residents of Trieu Khuc village, Tan Trieu commune is the main subject of the Festival. According to the elders, the Trieu Khuc village festival existed a long time ago, no one remembers exactly when. During the war, the villagers here did not have the conditions to organize festivals. Peace was restored and the villagers restored the rituals at the communal house. In 1989, villagers began to restore the procession and organize festivals regularly. In the past, Trieu Khuc villagers held a big festival every year. However, after the festival was restored, the villagers stipulated to organize the grand blessing flag once every 3 years. In the years when small flags and blessings were organized, the villagers only held the dragon palanquin procession and performed rituals at the communal house. Particularly in the communal house of Trieu Khuc village, a very detailed document about his entire background is preserved. Through the stages of historical development, this land has grown increasingly prosperous, with more and more residents, becoming a traditional village community with communal house roofs, pagoda roofs, banyan trees, and water wells. The remaining relics related to the festival include the Trieu Khuc communal house relic cluster including two communal houses: Dai Dinh and Sac worshiping communal house, Trieu Khuc pagoda, Patriarch Temple - worshiping Vu Su Than - the Patriarch of the craft village, Tam Thanh temple, Mausoleum worshiping the Lord.
