Ho Chi Minh City Vegetarian Cuisine Festival 2026 will take place at Binh Phu Park, Binh Phu Ward, Ho Chi Minh City from August 24 to 30, 2026. With the theme "Choose green cuisine for a green future", the event brings together nearly 200 stalls of vegetarian cuisine, green products, OCOP agricultural products and sustainable consumption solutions. The festival aims to spread a green, sustainable lifestyle through culinary demonstrations, competitions and exchange programs, expected to attract more than 350,000 visitors.
Ho Chi Minh City Vegetarian Cuisine Festival 2026, with the theme "Choose green cuisine for a green future", will take place from August 24 to 30, 2026 at Binh Phu Park, Binh Phu ward, Ho Chi Minh City. This is the third time the event has been held, marking an important transformation from a festival introducing vegetarian dishes into a large space promoting the ecosystem of Green Cuisine - Green Consumption - Green Agriculture - Green Tourism - Green Economy. The festival is expected to create a sustainable green living ecosystem, where small choices on the dining table contribute to health, the environment and sustainable development.
During 7 days, the festival brings together nearly 200 booths from businesses in many fields such as traditional and modern vegetarian cuisine, healthy food, plant-based foods, OCOP products and Vietnamese agricultural products, along with technology solutions serving the F&B industry. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy and learn about familiar Vietnamese dishes prepared in a vegetarian style such as pho, banh mi, banh xeo, Hue vermicelli, vermicelli with fish sauce and spring rolls. An interesting highlight introduced is the giant vegetarian sandwich that is 1.3m long and weighs 10kg.
The event is not only a place to experience cuisine but also a forum to spread the spirit of green living through many practical activities. These activities include reducing emissions, limiting plastic waste, building Zero Waste spaces, recycling food waste and encouraging cashless payments. Attendees can meet chefs, artisans, businesses, learn about new products and participate in exchange, experience and trade promotion activities. Miss Phan Thi Mo also accompanies the festival as an ambassador, to spread the message of a balanced and humane lifestyle to the community, especially families and young people.
In addition, the festival also has meaningful community programs such as "Connecting love - Sowing seeds of happiness" on August 29, giving 200 gifts to disadvantaged people and 30 full "Green Chef Scholarships". The festival is expected to attract more than 350,000 visitors, becoming a prominent cultural destination in Ho Chi Minh City in August, not only for vegetarians but also for anyone interested in health, the environment and a sustainable lifestyle.
