Hue Citadel

From the end of August to the end of September, Hue enters the festival season with a series of activities under the Fall Festival - Hue Festival 2026. A notable point is that the programs not only focus on the relics but also expand to the Perfume River, streets and community spaces, creating a colorful picture of Autumn.

Opening the series of activities is the Hue Nam Electric Festival taking place from August 20 - 22. This is one of Hue's unique cultural and religious activities, contributing to bringing traditional cultural values closer to people and tourists.

From August 30 to September 1, Hue continues to organize Hue Wonderverse Fest 2026. In particular, on the evening of August 30, an art program to celebrate the National Day of September 2 will take place at Hai Ba Trung walking street, creating another nightlife destination for tourists during the holiday.

On August 19 and September 2, 2026, Vietnamese citizens will also receive free tickets to visit historical and cultural relics of the Hue Monuments Complex. This is not only an opportunity for people to access heritage but also creates conditions for tourists to combine visiting the Citadel, mausoleums and royal architectural works with experiencing the Fall activities taking place in the city.

Entering September, the festive atmosphere continues to be extended with the 37th Hue City Traditional Boat Race taking place on September 2 on the Perfume River. Races on Hue's iconic river bring a different perspective on the community cultural life of the ancient capital.

From September 18 - 20, Hue Lion Festival 2026 will continue to create a highlight, before the Opening Ceremony of the City Sports Festival takes place on September 20. Tomb of Tu Duc
