Buddha's birthday at the top of Fansipan

From 15 - 18.5, at the Fansipan sacred peak, the Vietnam Buddhist Church of Lao Cai province will organize the Great Buddha's Birthday. The highlight of this year's Great Ceremony is the offering of thousands of lighthouses bringing the wishes by Buddhists, tourists, promising to bring the sacred fanciful scenery at the peak of Fansipan.

Buddha's Birthday is one of the three biggest holidays of the year of Buddhism, to celebrate the birth of Buddha Shakyamuni in the 7th century BC. From 1999, the Buddha's birthday was recognized by the United Nations as a world spiritual cultural festival.

The Buddha's Birthday at the Spiritual Complex on the top of the Fansipan will take place from 15 to 18.5 (on 8-11.4 lunar calendar), with many unique cultural and cultural events. The event is expected to have the participation of more than 350 virtues, monks and nuns, Buddhist Buddhists (GHPG) Vietnam from all over the country with thousands of tourists to Fansipan on this occasion.

Preparing for the Great Ceremony, all the spiritual architectural works at Bich Van Zen from the height from 2,900m to the Fansipan sacred peak will be decorated with thousands of iridescent flags and thousands of fresh flowers. The highlight of the space is the flower waterfall up to 3m and the word Buddha is born with chrysanthemum and red apricot blossom.

Accordingly, from 15-17.5, visitors and Buddhists worship at Bich Van Thien Tu or the great statue of Amitabha Buddha in the Spiritual Fansipan population will be guided to write the wishes and put them in the flower trays to post and chemical to post on the evening of May 18.

On May 18, with the Fansipan chosen by Lao Cai Province's GHPG in Lao Cai province as the main venue for the Great Buddha Ceremony of 2024, the Great Ceremony will be held solemnly with traditional Buddhist rituals. Accordingly, the program will have the ceremony to recite Buddha's blessing and read the Buddha's Buddha's message 2568 of the Dharma Master of Vietnam. Buddhists and visitors will celebrate the Buddha's ritual, including incense, chanting, and Buddhist baths.

The ritual of bathing Buddha is also considered as a bath to be peaceful and clean. In the solemn space of the ritual, listening to the sound of the Kinh shelf mixed in the wind of the great thousand, all troubles like leaving in the meditation, each person's mind is only peaceful and pure.

Attending this year's Buddha's Birthday, visitors also attended the ceremony to post the Buddha at Bich Van Thien on the evening of May 18. Thousands of lighthouses are written by the previous wish that will be lit and drop into the lake. All will create a masterpiece of light, bringing a shimmering and fanciful scene at the top of the sacred Fansipan.

According to the Buddhist conception, the flower is the traditional ritual, as a memory of the Buddha, who has transmitted the light of wisdom to the monks and Buddhists. At the same time, through each morning post, each person sends prayers for peace and health for the family and beings.

Besides traditional rituals, the Great Ceremony also has art programs on the background of songs about Buddhism and elegant lotus dance.
