THE TEMPLE FESTIVAL OF MR

Cua Ong Temple is one of the historical and cultural relics of the Tran Dynasty, with a long history associated with the legend of Hung Nhuong Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tang, who spent his entire life with glorious victories against foreign invaders in the border lands of the Fatherland. He was the third son of the moderate Duke of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan. He was a brave general with meritorious service to the people and the country. He was twice sent to Cua Suot, a strategic position in the Northeast region, to defend. To remember the merits of Hung Nhuong Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tang, people built a temple at Cua Ong.

Cua Ong Temple was ranked by the Prime Minister as a special national historical site in 2017. Cua Ong Temple Festival is opened annually on February 3-4 and August 3-4 (lunar calendar), bearing the symbol of the spirit of fighting against foreign invaders to protect the country, that symbol is expressed by honoring the historical figure, the national hero of the Tran Dynasty - Hung Nhuong Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tang.

Cua Ong Temple Festival aims to recreate the history and great contributions of the "national founders", those who have contributed to the people and the country; is an opportunity for each person to express the moral principle "When drinking water, remember its source", praying for a prosperous people, a strong country, a civilized society, happy families, arousing national pride, compassion and responsibility for the people to their homeland and country.
