Nua Temple Festival Phu Nua Festival takes place from the 18th to the 20th of the first lunar month every year. In Tan Ninh commune, Trieu Son district. During the festival, the people of the villages offer decorative trays to worship and commemorate the merits of the generals and gods who have contributed to the destruction and preservation of the land.  Tan Ninh commune, Trieu Son district was formed from a village called Ke Nua. The reason it is called Ke Nua is because the locality has the Nua mountain range, this is a high mountain range originating from the Truong Son range reaching towards the sea in the Northwest - Southeast direction. The land in the mountains is fertile and fertile, the trees are lush, especially in the forest where bamboo trees grow everywhere. Therefore, local people often call it Nua mountain. Throughout history, Ke Nua land has changed to many other names such as: Co Na, Co Ninh, Co Dinh, Ninh Hoa and Tan Ninh commune today. Nua Temple Festival usually starts after Tet Mau Ty, but the main festival is still from January 18 to 20. During the days of the festival, the festival opened at Am Tien relic and welcomed many tourists from all over to visit the pagoda, admire the mountainous countryside and practice their beliefs. Every year the festival opens solemnly and solemnly at Tran Khat Chan temple and ends at Nua palace. The festival includes Ceremony Part and Festival Part The Ceremony takes place as follows: Each year, a typical village will be chosen to offer the main offering, a procession with a palanquin (8 people carrying), in the palanquin there are all kinds of fruits and banh day - a local specialty made with yellow flower sticky rice. The procession is held at two locations, Tran Khat Chan temple and Ba Trieu temple. At the head of the palanquin procession is a person dressed in military uniform, agile, bright-eyed, a military mandarin, holding a sword in hand to clear the way, commanding the palanquin procession army. Behind are a number of young men and women, along with village women holding decorative trays and offerings to the gods. Next is a group of soldiers dressed neatly, holding weapons, umbrellas and a team carrying palanquins. The palanquin procession from Tran Khat Chan temple is called the Ong palanquin; The palanquin procession from Ba Trieu temple is called Ba palanquin. The person carrying the palanquin must be a young man or woman. Both Ong palanquins and Ba palanquins are carried to the center of the local stadium to make offerings to heaven and earth, to the gods and to pray for peace in the country and people, good weather and good crops... Assembly section: The previous festival had human chess games, boat racing, waltz singing, card game, and cockfighting. Today, the festival also organizes cultural activities, sports, football, badminton, table tennis, chess, cockfighting...
