Here, every year, the Harvest Festival, also known as Dinh Tan Trao festival, takes place, a traditional festival of the Tay ethnic people in Tan Trao commune. This is the harvest festival of the ancient Kim Long village, now performed by 3 villages including Tan Lap, Lung Bung and Mo Che hamlets, imbued with traditional rituals of the Tay ethnic people in Tan Trao commune, Son Duong district. Each person has their own emotions, but clearly visible in every eye and smile is joy and happiness. Coming to the Harvest Festival on the 4th day of the Lunar New Year, tourists from all over not only learn about Tan Trao with its revolutionary tradition but also know about the land with the richness of traditional cultural life that has been preserved by people for many generations. Tan Trao Communal Harvest Festival is organized in 2 parts, the ceremony part and the festival part. The ceremony was held solemnly and respectfully at Tan Trao Communal House, the communal house is associated with historical imprints, with the entire Vietnamese people and with the lives of people of all ethnic groups in Tan Trao commune. At Dinh Tan Trao, on August 16 and 17, 1945, the National Congress met to pass the Order of the General Uprising to seize power and 10 major policies of the Viet Minh, electing the National Committee for the Liberation of Vietnam, the Provisional Government with comrade Ho Chi Minh as Chairman. The Congress voted on the iron will and determination to win national independence of the people of the whole country. The ceremony is carried out on a large scale and solemnly, following the steps of bringing the offering tray into the communal house and offering incense. 8 trays of feasts were brought into the communal house by 8 strong men for the ceremony. After the offerings were brought to the communal house, drums and gongs rang out, visitors from all over and people of the three villages offered incense to express their gratitude to the village's Tutelary God and the eight Great Kings and to pray for favorable weather, good harvests, peaceful and happy homes, and good health. Coming to the festival, visitors can also participate in cultural, artistic and sports activities imbued with traditional cultural identities that have been preserved by people here for many generations. In the bustling atmosphere of the festival, each person has their own emotions, but clearly visible in every eye and smile is joy and happiness. After the ceremony at Tan Trao Communal House, there is a procession of the village Thanh Hoang's palanquin from Tan Trao Communal House to Tan Trao Square to continue the festival. Folk games in the festival always attract a large number of tourists and people to participate. The festival was organized with many folk games imbued with the cultural identity of the Tay people, attracting the participation of tourists from near and far. Games of catching trach in jars, plowing competitions, transplanting competitions, rainbow climbing competitions, stick pushing, shuttlecock tossing, tug of war and other then and then singing melodies praising the love of couples, praising the Party and Uncle Ho created excitement for the festival. The game of catching trach in jars is performed by the couple and offering the caught pair of trach at the village Thanh Hoang palanquin. Games recreating scenes of farmers' daily lives such as plowing, catching shrimp and fish, selling traditional medicine, geckos calling for rain... have shown the aspirations of the people and have a profound humanistic educational value. The harvest festival has been maintained for many years, although each place and land holding the festival has its own unique features, but it is always rich in identity and diversity and richness in the form of activities. At the end of the festival, tourists leave and the romantic Then and Coi songs still follow the footsteps of visitors from near and far. Coming to the Dinh Tan Trao harvest festival, visitors can return to their sacred roots, return to the language environment and folk cultural activities imbued with traditional features in each costume, folk songs and in each folk game, gather together, exchange and be immersed in the harmonious atmosphere of heaven and earth. Folk games in the festival show the rich beauty of the soul, linked to nature, and to the long-standing cultural practices of the ethnic groups. The festival has been deeply ingrained in the subconscious of every person and has become a festival for ethnic minorities in the province. The unique culture of ethnic minorities is vividly expressed through each festival, contributing to enriching the cultural treasure of Vietnam's ethnic groups.
