Hanoi - Ha Long (Note: Do not arrive directly at Mong Cai)

  • This train line only stops at Ha Long Station. From Ha Long, visitors have to take a bus to travel nearly 150km via the highway to Mong Cai. Therefore, the train is not the optimal choice to go to Tra Co, unless you want to experience slow sightseeing and combine visiting Ha Long first.

Passenger bus to Mong Cai - Tra Co

This is the most popular and fastest means of transportation today thanks to the Van Don - Mong Cai expressway which has opened to traffic on the entire route.
