The mine bunker was built in 1944, and was completed after 4 months. The tunnel was built under a discreet mountain valley, built in an arch shape, inside the tunnel is a reinforced concrete wall 1m thick and 2.7m high. The front of the tunnel door is made of stone, 7m high and 20m long. The tunnels are arranged interconnected in a U-shape. The tunnel mainly stores mines and mines for coastal defense, creating an underwater battlefield blocking the Vung Tau-Can Gio estuary.
