During the spring trip to the ancestral land of Phu Tho, after admiring Hung Temple and historical and cultural relics in the province, tourists immerse themselves in the natural scenery to feel the vibrant spring colors all over the countryside. The natural masterpiece of the budwood population in Chuong Xa commune, Cam Khe district, Phu Tho province will bring visitors amazing beauty and interesting feelings. The population of ancient redbuds in Chuong Xa commune has long been considered a natural "treasure" in the ancestral land. The excitement and uniqueness of the ancient sesame bud hill has been attracting a large number of tourists to admire it in the spring. In the warm weather, the spring rain has breathed new life into the ancient sesame trees, causing green shoots to sprout from the spindly branches, creating a fresh, vibrant picture of nature. At Go Tho location, Chuong Xa commune, in the middle of a vast field is a gathering place of hundreds of sesame trees dating back thousands of years, growing tangerine, surrounding and supporting each other, creating a unique plant community. Legend has it that in the past, when this area was still a fountain, Hung Kings, princesses, lac marquis, and lac generals often rowed boats to roam around and sightsee. Later, the water drained away and people planted rice. The sesame forest on the hill is green and has developed over thousands of years. Currently, there are nearly 100 ancient redwood trees surrounding and entwining each other, forming an amazing natural complex with timeless vitality, giving the countryside space a vitality and rare natural beauty. The legends that residents of the area tell to tourists make the natural complex even more mysterious and attractive. The Chuong Xa budwood population was recognized by the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Nature and Environment as a Vietnamese Heritage Tree. This place has become an ideal experience destination for tourists from near and far, a natural "treasure" of the ancestral land. Having gone through decades of wind and frost, the trees are still strong and strong, reaching up to the blue sky. The sesame tree comes in all shapes and sizes, growing in different directions with rough, zigzag roots hidden on the ground, creating an extremely impressive scene. The most beautiful moments must be mentioned every June and July of the solar calendar. That is the time when the sesame trees are in bloom season, glowing red all over the sky. The small crimson flowers bloom mainly at night, and in the early morning they fall to the ground like a beautiful velvet carpet. Besides the beauty when the flowers bloom, the population of sesame seeds in Cam Khe also puts on its very own dress in the days of March. The foliage begins to change color, turning yellow and red and then gradually falling off, looking strangely poetic and romantic. In the middle of the mound there is also an ancient tomb without a nameplate or roof, just a brick pedestal covered with green moss tinged with time and covered by the roots of sesame trees. Legend has it that this is the place to worship Princess Ngoc Hoa, the 7th daughter of King Hung. However, according to records of Chuong Xa commune, the origin of the tomb is said to belong to Princess Tien Dung. Up to now, although the history of the tomb is still unknown, the population of sesame buds and ancient tombs at Vinh mound has become a sacred place for people around the area. As for visitors from far away, this place is an interesting stop not only to explore history and natural scenery but also a place to save impressive photos. This population is located only about 40km from Viet Tri city, about 100km from Hanoi capital, very suitable for a weekend trip. Especially on the upcoming death anniversary, if you have time, try to come here and enjoy the breath of time preserved on every tree and foliage here!
